Bitget continues to expand its education-focused initiatives by highlighting women-led blockchain literacy efforts as part of its global inclusion strategy.
The platform said its Blockchain4Her program is supporting educators and community organizers working to improve access to web3 knowledge, particularly among women and young people in underserved areas.
Women-Led Education Efforts Take Center Stage
Blockchain4Her, launched by Bitget, is positioned as an education-first initiative aimed at increasing womenās participation in blockchain and digital asset ecosystems. The company said the program focuses on community partnerships, grassroots advocacy and long-term skills development rather than short-term market activity.
In the Philippines, Bitget cited advocates including Bea Llana, Arshelene āTita Arshā Lingao and MaryWave, also known as Wave3, as contributors to local blockchain education efforts.
- Llana, a Southeast Asiaābased ecosystem builder and co-founder of Buhayin, has worked on education and connectivity initiatives in island communities.
- Lingao, founder of Cryptita Plays, has focused on web3 literacy for Filipino youth and underserved groups. She also collaborated with Bitgetās Blockchain4Youth initiative to develop the āYoung Learnersā Encyclopedia,ā an introductory resource on blockchain concepts.
- MaryWave, co-founder of Wave3, has built trading-focused communities centered on market structure and risk awareness, according to the company.
Gracy Chen, chief executive officer of Bitget, said the initiative was designed to create āa safe spaceā for women exploring web3.
Broader Philippines Push Through Blockchain4Youth
Blockchain4Her operates alongside Bitgetās Blockchain4Youth program, which has focused on digital infrastructure and youth education in the Philippines.
According to a December 2025 report by BitPinas, Bitget deployed six Starlink internet units to schools in Surigao del Norte, Siquijor and Negros Oriental in 2025 under Blockchain4Youth, providing connectivity to more than 7,300 students and over 100 teachers. The initiative included digital readiness assessments and the rollout of Web3 and digital literacy modules.
In November 2025, Blockchain4Youth booth appeared at LALIGAās Youth Tournament in New Clark City, where the company hosted sports-themed activities and promoted digital literacy initiatives. The tournament drew around 7,000 players and coaches, according to the report.
Separately, Bitget partnered with the World Bank-supported The Ascent Project to provide ā±100,000 in relief assistance to 118 individuals affected by a 6.9 magnitude earthquake in Cebu in September 2025.
Education Strategy Linked to Global Partnerships
Bitget said its initiatives align with its broader global education strategy, which includes a collaboration with UNICEF aimed at expanding digital and blockchain education access for young people by 2027.
The Philippines has been one of Southeast Asiaās most active crypto markets, driven in part by retail adoption and play-to-earn gaming activity during previous market cycles. Education and consumer protection have become recurring themes among industry players operating in the country.
Bitget described its women-focused and youth-focused programs as part of a long-term effort to promote responsible participation in digital asset markets.
