GoTyme Bank, a registered digital bank in the country, reported major gains in deposits, user adoption, and physical expansion in its latest quarterly update.
The Numbers: In under three years since launch, GoTyme Bank shared its key milestones.
- 6.5 million users.
- More than ₱30 billion in customer deposits
- ₱10.5 billion spent via GoTyme Bank cards in Q2, 2025.
- Used in over 100 countries.
- Top four for monthly active app users.
- Top five for InstaPay sends.
Meanwhile, addressing security needs, the bank shared that it rolled out mandatory biometric verification when relinking devices and enhanced fraud detection systems to better identify threats.

Moreover, by placing kiosks in over 70 SM Stores by the third quarter of 2025, it aims to make services more accessible, the digital bank stressed. These locations are said to allow customers to open an account and receive a Visa debit card in under five minutes.
On the other hand, GoTyme Bank also presented how it backs national sports and small businesses. It supports the Philippine Football Federation and extends credit of up to ₱3 million through partnerships with payment gateway PayMongo and online food and grocery delivery service foodpanda.
To celebrate its key milestones, the digital bank launched a Buy Now, Pay Later feature for installment purchases and previewed new offerings coming soon:
- BNPL service with four-installment payments
- Local stock investing and in-app crypto trading
- Cash deposit/withdrawal machines
- Revised Go Rewards points scheme
