A 100x label on an exchange banner is easy to read and hard to interpret. It tells you the maximum multiplier the platform will allow somewhere in its product list. It does not tell you which pairs qualify, how large a position can be before the cap steps down, what a round trip costs you at that size, or whether the price feed that decides your liquidation can be trusted.

This is a press release submitted to BitPinas.

This guide ranks seven exchanges for traders who actually use high leverage, and it does so on those questions rather than on the headline number. Fee and leverage figures were checked in October 2026 against each platform’s own published documentation, at base tiers with no VIP rates or token discounts.

What 100x really costs

Two pieces of arithmetic explain why this category needs more care than ordinary futures trading.

First, a 100x position is margined with 1% of its notional value. A move of about 1% against you wipes out the margin, slightly less once fees and maintenance requirements are counted. There is no room for a normal intraday swing, let alone a stop hunt.

Second, fees are charged on notional, not on margin. At 100x, a fee of 0.060% charged on opening and again on closing equals 0.12% of notional, which is 12% of your margin before the trade has moved at all. Limit orders at a 0.019% rate cost 3.8% of margin over the same round trip. The gap between a maker and a taker fee is therefore not a rounding error at this leverage; it decides how much of your stake is left to trade with.

That is why the ranking below weighs price-feed integrity and fee structure above the raw multiplier.

1. Margex — best for 100x on the majors

Margex is built around one claim, and it is worth testing. If you want a Crypto exchange for 100x leverage trading that treats liquidation risk as a product problem rather than a user problem, its design choices line up with that goal.

Leverage runs from x5 to x100, and the top setting is available on BTC, ETH, BNB and TRX. Most altcoin perpetuals sit between x25 and x75, and the tokenized stock and commodity contracts are capped at x25. Stating that openly matters, because a maximum that applies to four pairs is a different product from a maximum that applies to everything.

The feature that matters most at 100x is the price feed. Margex’s MP Shield system pulls liquidity from a pool of twelve providers, arbitrages between them, and filters out spoofing, bluffing and wash-trading before a suspicious print can reach your position. When one venue spikes on thin volume, that spike is not automatically your liquidation. The platform cites an order book of more than $40 million combined across its providers. With a 1% buffer, a single bad tick is the most plausible way to lose a position that was otherwise right.

Fees are flat: 0.019% maker and 0.060% taker, charged on open and close, on every instrument. No volume tiers, no token to hold. Funding settles every eight hours at 00:00, 08:00 and 16:00 UTC, and a position closed before rollover pays nothing. Deposits carry no platform fee, and withdrawals cost only the network miner fee.

Both margin modes are available. Isolated margin limits the loss to the margin reserved for the trade and shows an estimated liquidation price up front. Cross margin liquidates when the margin level falls to 10% or below, closing the position with the largest loss in that collateral currency first. The rule fits in one sentence, which is a real advantage when you are sizing a trade quickly.

Beyond crypto, the list now covers 66 instruments, including tokenized exposure to NVDA, GOOGL, TSLA, AAPL, AMZN, META and SPCX, plus Brent, WTI and silver. Copy trading is built in, with over a hundred strategy providers, and iOS and Android apps cover both trading and copying. Client assets sit in multisignature offline cold storage.

The trade-offs are plain. Margex lacks the open interest of the largest venues, its taker fee is higher than several rivals’, and the United States and some sanctioned regions are excluded. If cost per trade at institutional size is your priority, look further down. If your priority is surviving a 1% buffer on BTC or ETH, this is the strongest fit.

2. Binance — highest cap, most conditions

Binance publishes up to 125x on selected perpetual contracts, with 20x set by default. On BTCUSDT the 125x ceiling applies only to positions up to 50,000 USDT in notional value, after which the permitted leverage steps down. Base fees are 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker, with a discount for paying in BNB, and open interest is the deepest in the industry.

For a trader running small size on BTC, the number is real. For anyone scaling up, the tier table becomes part of the strategy, and misreading it is a common way to end up liquidated at a leverage you did not know you had.

3. Bybit — fast execution for derivatives-first traders

Bybit’s perpetual fees are 0.02% maker and 0.055% taker for non-VIP accounts, and BTC and ETH are widely published at 100x. Sources and regional entities quote different ceilings, so confirm the contract specification for your pair before relying on a figure. The interface is built around derivatives, order entry is quick, and liquidity on the majors is strong. The company reported more than 82 million users across 181 countries in January 2026.

OKX’s own perpetual-swap guide lists leverage up to 100x on BTCUSDT, and many third-party reviews quote 125x, so use the official figure. Base fees are 0.02% maker and 0.05% taker. Its strength is breadth: perpetuals, dated futures and options share a unified margin account, which suits traders who hedge a high-leverage perp with another instrument. If you only open perps, the extra surface is unused weight.

5. Bitget — 125x with copy trading at scale

Bitget advertises up to 125x on selected futures contracts at 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker. Its social-trading ecosystem is among the largest, which draws a lot of followers into high-leverage strategies. Read a provider’s maximum drawdown before their return. A strategy that earned 400% in a quarter at 100x has usually taken risks that will show up eventually.

6. KuCoin — 125x across a wide altcoin list

KuCoin lists leverage up to 125x on select pairs, with futures fees of 0.02% maker and 0.06% taker at the base tier. The company states a user base above 45 million. The appeal is breadth of altcoin perpetuals. The caution is that high multipliers on smaller pairs usually come with thinner books and wider spreads, so slippage on exit can cost more than the commission you saved.

7. Kraken — 100x with the most conservative profile

Kraken raised maximum leverage on BTC and ETH perpetual futures from 50x to 100x in May 2026 in eligible regions. The 100x band applies up to about $1 million of notional on Bitcoin and $500,000 on Ether, and other pairs stay at 50x. Base derivatives fees are 0.0200% maker and 0.0500% taker. It is the most regulated name here, which suits traders who weigh counterparty profile above the biggest multiplier.

A note on 200x and 500x offers

Some platforms advertise 200x or even 500x. Treat these as marketing ceilings. A 500x position has a 0.2% buffer, smaller than the bid-ask spread on many pairs, and it is liquidated by ordinary noise. Nothing above 100x in this list was needed to make the ranking, and none of it would change the conclusion.

How to choose

Pick by the failure you most want to avoid. If it is liquidation from a distorted price, Margex’s multi-provider feed addresses that directly. If it is running out of depth at size, Binance or Bybit. If you want options and futures together, OKX. If you want a social layer, Bitget. If regulation outranks everything else, Kraken.

Whichever you choose, set the stop before the entry, size so that a 1% move does not end the account, and use limit orders where you can, since at 100x the fee type is part of your risk. High leverage multiplies losses exactly as it multiplies gains. Only trade with capital you can afford to lose entirely.
