Yammie’s Learning Journey That Inspires

Which 101 Blockchains courses or certifications have you completed?

I have completed the 101 Blockchains Certified Cryptocurrency Professional (CCP)™ certification.

Why did you choose 101 Blockchains, and how was your Overall Learning Experience with the Platform?

I’ve long been fascinated by how blockchain can reshape how we live and work. During my MA in Photography, I built an NFT photography archive, which sparked a deeper interest in how tokenisation, provenance, and programmable incentives could be applied in commerce and marketing. I wanted a programme that would help me systematically organise the noise, solidify my hands‑on experience, and equip me with a business‑first framework I could carry into research and entrepreneurial marketing work.

The CCP programme delivered exactly that. It starts from first principles and builds up clear mental models for cryptocurrency and tokenisation, then connects them to real business needs like payments, treasury, and compliance. The curriculum blends core concepts with case studies, so the ideas are practical rather than theoretical. I especially valued the coverage of tokenisation in business contexts and the dedicated modules on risk, compliance, and policy, which made the material enterprise‑ready. The hands‑on assignment and presentation requirement were the capstone—forcing me to translate the learning into a concise, non‑technical proposal that a stakeholder can understand and act on.

At 101 Blockchains, you don’t just earn certifications — you gain real-world skills that shape you into a confident blockchain professional.

Which Skills or Knowledge Do you think have helped you the most?

Beyond the foundation covered above, the programme sharpened the technical considerations I need to design credible, commerce‑ready ideas. In “Payments and Treasury with Cryptocurrency,” I learned the mechanics of stablecoin settlement, wallet UX flows, and on‑/off‑ramp choices, plus when to use self‑custody, multi‑sig, or MPC for different risk profiles. “Tokenisation in Business” helped me connect token design and incentive structures to real buyer–seller behaviour, loyalty, and secondary‑market dynamics. “Compliance and Policy” made me fluent in what actually matters for deployment—KYC/AML, and record‑keeping, so concepts translate into auditable operations.

Taken together, this forms a practical skillset for applying cryptocurrency and tokenisation in marketing and commerce. Most organisations are not yet ready on these fronts, which creates a clear knowledge gap to fill—and this course is the ideal starter to build that capability with confidence.

How has this program contributed to your professional growth?

The CCP programme has strengthened both my entrepreneurial work and my marketing career. It gave me the foundations to design modern business models that bring cryptocurrency into everyday commerce and to create wallet based marketing ideas that resonate with today’s crypto ready consumers. As more organisations and even countries adopt cryptocurrency for payments, the pace of adoption will continue to rise, which makes this capability directly relevant to my work.

The same foundations power my NFT photography archive by guiding my ongoing research and documentation. They also point to a simple and systematic approach that other photographers can use to build and manage their own on chain archives with confidence.

What advice would you give to someone considering a career in blockchain?

Even if you have years of crypto investing or web3 experience, learning the ideas in a systematic way will sharpen your judgement and fill in blind spots. Getting certified with a programme like Certified Cryptocurrency Professional (CCP)™ also signals that you have invested the time to truly understand the concepts, can evaluate them from a business standpoint, and are ready to provide insights grounded in best practice. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, so choose a theme you are genuinely curious about and keep going after the course with your own research and experiments. Depth in one practical area will compound faster than surface level knowledge across many.
