YGG Play Partners with Roach Racing Club to Boost On-Chain Game Engagement

YGG Play, the publishing arm of Yield Guild Games (YGG), announced a new collaboration with Roach Racing Club, a game that gamifies real-time crypto market predictions into a competitive racing format.

The partnership integrates the title into the YGG Play Launchpad; quests are embedded into the gameplay to reward users for successful simulated trading.

Racing Powered by Market Calls

In the game, players compete in races where speed is determined by their ability to predict short-term market movements.

• Players execute trades tied to live crypto market action, and every successful call propels their avatar — a customized “roach” — closer to the finish line.
• The developers describe the mechanics as skill-based and specifically targeting the “degen” demographic, streamers, and competitive players who prefer high-stakes gameplay over passive tasks.

Gabby Dizon, co-founder of YGG, highlighted that the game’s focus on market action is a strategic fit for their audience:

“It’s a competitive, crypto-native game built around real market action. hat’s exactly the kind of experience that Casual Degens want, which makes it a natural fit for YGG Play.”

According to the announcement, since launching on Abstract chain, the game has recorded over 9.2 million races and paid out over US$1.5 million in cumulative winnings, positioning itself as one of the top performers in that ecosystem.

Integration Details

Under the partnership, YGG Play will provide marketing support, player acquisition, and smart contract-enforceable revenue sharing.

The collaboration will also feature cross-over content with YGG’s flagship title, LOL Land, which will launch a Roach Racing-themed board on January 29, 2026.

This marks YGG Play’s first major partnership for 2026 as it looks to expand its catalog of “Casual Degen” titles.
